Limpid pink crystalline painted marble panels inset in surround of painted 'Vert de mer' (black and green) marble. 

The upper panels are a softly washed pale seafoam; a somewhat rustic, brush-grained border decorated with gold arabesques divides the upper and lower areas.

Door, trim, crown molding, and baseboards are also brush-grained.
